Why SDC Exists
There was no audited proof of where surplus material actually goes.
Maharashtra's C&D Waste Management Rules (April 2026) require diversion tracking for large projects. Most builders have no independent record. The SDC is that record.

Quantify & Grade
On-site audit of surplus material by category, quantity, and condition grade (A/B) against current market pricing.
Issue the SDC
A signed, numbered certificate verified by an IGBC-accredited co-signatory, with carbon accounting under ICE Database v3.
Divert to Market
Recoverable material is placed back into the supply chain rather than landfilled closing the loop the certificate records.
